Creativity is one of the reasons we started making fins.  The potential for creative projects with fins is pretty endless, but we'd like to present one collaboration we've done recently as we're so stoked with the results - and we think you will be too.

We teamed up with Parla.mento, a surf festival in Portugal, and Luis Silva aka Sick Faces, a Portuguese artist, to create something a little special and certainly unique.

Luis' art is well-known in Portugal and further afield, he's got a very characteristc style of block colours and shapes, which you'll see adorning posters, T Shirts, prints...and now fins!  When Alex, one of the organisers of the Parla.mento festival, got in touch with us about collaborating with Luis to create some special one-off fins for the Parla.mento event, we were quick to say yes - and looked forward to presenting them at the festival.  Unfortunately, this was scheduled for the first weekend of lockdown in Spain and Portugal, and as such has had to be postponed, but the fins still got finished, and we're stoked to be able to share these shots of them by fellow Parla.mento organiser Mauro Motty.

And as for the future?  Well, for us this was the warm up for a new project we've had on the back burner for a long time now, Art Fins.  Launching soon online & on Instagram Stories...watch this space!
